The bad is mostly found in the mini-games. Where there is good, there is bad, though. It really kind of brings the whole thing together. The Dadsona creator (yup) is really fun, letting you decide what you want your dad to look like.

The music is fun and bouncy that fits in nicely in the background, and it has a cute theme song that you may find yourself humming on occasion. The art style is absolutely wonderful, very anime and cartoonish, the dads both attractive and cute and the kids absolutely adorable. The moments between your character and Amanda can be almost tear-jerking at times, and the interactions between you and the other dads are great, be them good or bad.Ī lot about this game is great. The dad jokes… oh they are painfully wonderful. He was funny as hell! And that brings me to the writing. But honestly, the more I got to know him, the more I kinda loved him. In the real world, there were some guys that I would have honestly never have given a second chance, like the drifter badass, Robert. You have a health nut, a goth, a drifter badass, a teacher, a one-upper, and they all have their pros and cons, some more than others if you ask me. She wants you to make friends, to get back out there! Don’t disappoint your little girl.Īs I said before, you have seven dads to choose from, and they are all different. Where’s your better half? Well… he, or she, died, a while ago, so it’s been just you and Manda Panda for a while. You’re a dad, a single dad, surrounded by other (mostly) single dads. She’s in her senior year of high school, getting ready to start college, and maybe it’s time you try to date again. You and your daughter, Amanda, are moving across town to start a new chapter in life. I waited… and waited… and waited… and purchased the game eagerly with my own hard earned money. To be upfront with everyone, this was not a review code. With all of its dad puns and mini-games, we can play it to our heart's content, and play it I have.
